After Graduating at College of Technology at Pennsylvania State University in 1971, Mike Day enlisted in the United States Navy and became an Illustrator Draftsman aboard the USS Dixie, a Flagship of the Pacific Fleet. After being honorably discharched, he settled on Cape Cod in 1974, which is when he founded Day Sign Studio.
Mike learned hand lettering techniques while in college. He has kept up with the computerized technology where he combines the old style of sign making to create better, longer lasting signs.
