We prefer using High Density Urethane (SIGNFOAM) 18lb density material. It is a non-degradable product
that costs less than wood and lasts longer. We also carve wood but you must ask for it.
We finish all signs with 4 coats of paint. Commercial signs we prefer using High Gloss Industrial Sign Paints, for House Signs we prefer low luster semi-gloss finish using Sherwin Williams.
The gold we use is 23k Gold Leaf which lasts approximately between 20-30 years depending on how stable the background finish is behind the Gold. Gold Paint only lasts between 3 to 5 years and doesn't have the same luxurious brilliant finish as the 23k Gold Leaf.
We offer non-Gold Leaf finishes in One Shot Lettering enamels in many colors. This is a high end paint
used in the industry for all hand lettering work. It comes in many colors and is in a high gloss finish.
